WMVP067 - Americanarama by Hollerado

Artist: Hollerado
Track: Americanarama
Director: Greg Jardin

When Canadian band Hollerado wanted to create a video for their track Americanarama, they got director Greg Jardin to do something special. He created a scaffolding contraption and filled it with 24 volunteers. They then proceed to hold up a series of flashcards to create a real-life 8-Bit screen.

The co-ordination needed to make the 58 pictures work together and fit the song is extraordinary and it really has to be seen to be believed.

One of the most original and inventive videos I have come across.

  1. I'm proud of these Canadian boys for referencing so many of North America's truly important cities.

But really. "Hey, Saskatoon" just doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
